MarsEdit + Tistory 그리고 MarkDown

Ⅰ. 테스트¹ 절차

1. MarsEdit의 New Post를 연다.
2. 메뉴: Post>Edit HTML Text를 선택한다.
3. MarkDown 문법을 이용하여 초안을 쓴다; 마크다운 전용 에디터-Mou 등을 쓰는 걸 권한다.
4. MarkDown 문서를 HTML 문서로 변환한다.
5. 변환한 HTML 문서를 New Post 창에 복사한다.
6. Send to Blog!

여러 모로 테스트를 해봤으나 편집창에서 Markdown 문법을 직접 써서 문서를 작성할 수는 없었다. MD을 써서 블로깅을 하고 싶다면 결국 MD→HTML의 과정을 피할 수는 없는 듯하다. 만약 MarsEdit에서 바로 MD 문법으로 초안을 작성할 수 있는 방법을 알고 있다면 방명록 등에 알려 주면 고맙겠다.

Ⅱ. MarkDown?

1. 마크다운(markdown)이란²

일반 텍스트 문서의 양식을 편집하는 문법이다. 마크다운을 이용해 작성된 문서는 쉽게 HTML 등 다른 문서형태로 변환이 가능하다.

2. Markdown is a text-to-HTML conversion tool for web writers. Markdown allows you to write using an easy-to-read, easy-to-write plain text format, then convert it to structurally valid XHTML (or HTML).\Thus, “Markdown” is two things: (1) a plain text formatting syntax; and (2) a software tool, written in Perl, that converts the plain text formatting to HTML. The overriding design goal for Markdown’s formatting syntax is to make it as readable as possible.
